We have negotiated exceptionally low rates which only apply to bookings made before departure and will not be available once you are in Italy.

Drivers must be minimum age of 23 years and have held a licence for at least one year. Customers who hold a green licence will need to get an international driving permit as well. The only full licences accepted are the newer pink/green European Community licences or new photocard driving licences (with paper copy). You will need your licence and passport for identification purposes when taking possession of the car. Please note cars must be returned to the place specified by the car rental company otherwise parking charges will be charged to your credit card or deducted from your deposit. Please note that if a car in the group you require is not available, the car rental company reserves the right to supply a higher group vehicle at no extra charge.

A course of three 2-hour classes (mornings, Mon-Weds). Learn how to make gnocchi, risotto, fish dishes and desserts. Price from €460 per person (including lunch, equipment and certificate).

Villa Pitiana, Tuscany
A wide variety of cooking courses are available at this stunning renaissance villa in the heart of Tuscany. Learn the art of Tuscan cuisine in the villa's historic kitchen on a 3 hour morning class available daily from €152 per person (includes lunch, equipment and wine tasting). Three and five day courses are also available.

As one of the world’s best wine-producing countries, Italy is the perfect setting for a wine-tasting experience. Join one of our vineyard or cellar tours to discover for yourself some of the superior quality wines on offer. Group or private excursions to nearby vineyards are available in Lake Como, Lake Garda, Sicily and Tuscany. Regular wine-tasting sessions are held at the Villa Aminta, Lake Maggiore.

• Ravello Music Festival - Ravello’s famous open-air concerts are held in the stunning panoramic setting of the Villa Rufolo Gardens in June and July.
• Puccini Festival, Tuscany - This annual event takes place in an open-air lakeside theatre at Torre del Lago, just south of Viareggio and Lucca in July and August.
